Summer Reading Clinics
Featuring Orton Gillingham Reading Instruction
​Eligible Participants:
Rising 2nd-5th graders who need to improve or maintain reading skills.
This clinic is especially beneficial for students who may have or be at risk for developing dyslexia.

Clinic 1 June 16th-20th, 9:30-11am
Clinic 2 July 28th-August 1st, 9:30-11am​

Participants will engage in 90 minutes of daily structured literacy training based on principles of the Science of Reading. Our clinic is run by school psychologists and Orton Gillingham trained reading specialists with very low student to staff ratios. This is an opportunity for high-dose evidence-based instruction within a concentrated time period. Participants can register for one or both sessions. Our reading clinics were carefully planned to take place at key times during the summer to help students build and maintain skills, reducing “summer slide” before returning to school in the Fall.​​
Summer Executive Functioning Clinic
​Eligible Participants:
Rising 3rd-5th graders who need to improve or maintain organizational, planning, time management, attentional, and social-emotional skills. This clinic is especially beneficial for students who may have or who have symptoms of ADHD.

August 4th-7th, 9:30-11am

Functioning Clinic!
​
Participants will engage in 90 minutes of daily instruction and activities including training in executive functioning skills, emotional regulation skills, soft social skills, and sensory movement. Our clinic is run by a school psychologist and an occupational therapist with very low student to staff ratios. This clinic was carefully designed to alternate between focused instruction periods and structured movement to help maintain participants’ engagement. This clinic is perfectly timed to help students learn and practice planning and organization skills to prepare for the transition back to school!​​

NOTE: Full payment following the consultation is what guarantees the child’s slot in the clinic. Children will be accepted in the order that payment has been submitted until each clinic is at capacity. Parents will also be required to complete additional paperwork before the clinic.
